Andi Rowinski

Andi Rowinski began her career with a BFA where she mainly worked in printmaking, oils, and watercolor.  However, her obsession with colored glass eventually grew to take over her workspace.  She now is best known for her painted glass which often resembles stained glass.  She is inspired by the sinuous grace of nature and art nouveau ornamentation, so her work is often marked by curves and swirls.  Her pieces include both decorative and functional forms which add beauty and grace to our everyday lives.

When Andi is not painting glass she can often be found teaching art in Carroll County Public Schools and has also written and illustrated a children’s book, Wishes. Works can be views at www.Andilandstudio.com, Andiland Studio on Instagram, Andiland Studio on Facebook, and in person at Off Track Gallery.
