Off Track Art Gallery and Gifts is located in downtown Westminster, by the intersection of Main St. and Liberty St. (Rt. 27), and is right off the railroad tracks! In 2009, a group of adventurous local artists established Off Track Art as a cooperative of artists who could work together not only to display and sell their art, but also to encourage and support each other. 

The Gallery has been successful for the last 16 years,  even as most of the original partners have moved on to other ventures in their professional and personal lives. What each leaves behind are memories AND an opportunity for another local artist to apply and be juried to join the Gallery and carry on our tradition.

In addition to exhibiting and selling their own work, the cooperative's artist partners invite other juried artists to show and sell their work at the Gallery by a minimum of 3 month consignment agreements. All partners and consigners are required by contract to produce and offer ONLY original handmade work.  There is a continual renewal process as consigners leave the gallery with appropriate notice, and new consigners join. This produces our ever-changing and diverse inventory of local, original, handmade work.

We also produce monthly sales "SHOWS" showcasing the work of individual solo or group artists, often unaffiliated with the Gallery, providing a venue for these artists to display their work to the public. We also use our own teaching experiences, as well as those of our numerous contacts, to offer workshops in conjunction with the Carroll Arts Center. We are also proud to serve as the hub for the annual Carroll County Artists' Studio Tour which is always the first full weekend in December.

And what's for sale in the gallery? There are paintings (oil, watercolor, and acrylic), photography, collage, quilting, needle felting, hand dyed scarves, quilting, other fiber art and accessories, jewelry, fused glass and stained glass, pottery, and a large selection of handmade cards. All work is original, one-of-a-kind, and handmade by one of our LOCAL partners or one of our LOCAL consigners.  Please-credit card or cash only.
